Can I get ALL of the credits I need to completely recertify my PHR or SPHR using this package?

HRCI requires 60 recertification credits (hours) every 3 years.  PHRs may take any course approved for HRCI credit.  SPHRs must accrue at least 15 hours of Business/Strategic credit as part of their 60 credits.  You can obtain ALL of your 60 credits using this package.  GPHRs will need to supplement the package with additional Global/International credits to total 15.  Those with California designations will need to supplement the package with California credits to total 15.

 

There is NO LIMIT on the number of e-Learning credits you may use toward your HRCI recertification.  The HRCI website states: "Calculating Credit for E-Learning/Online Courses:  You will earn one credit hour for every hour. What do the courses look like?

The courses use many different learning tools.  Depending on the topic, the courses may feature video, audio, animations, and interactive exercises.  All courses feature a consistent, easy-to-navigate interface.  Our courses are developed by Skillsoft, the world's largest e-Learning company.  Try the free sample course link above to watch the first 10 minutes of a course. 

 

Are hours and credits the same thing?

Yes!  1 hour of actual time is equal to 1 HRCI credit.

 

Can I take just a few courses and receive individual credit for them?

Yes.  Each indicated individual course is pre-approved for HRCI credit.  Once you successfully complete a course, you will receive the pre-approved HRCI program ID number for that course which you will enter into your recertification application to receive the specified number of credits.  You may take the courses in any order and at any time during your 1-year subscription.

 

Can I access my courses from both home and work?

Yes.  You may access your courses from almost any PC or Mac with internet access - no iPads or Android tablets at this time.  You can start a course on one computer and then resume from where you left off on another.

 

Can I start a course and then go back to it again when I have time?

Yes.  You may start and stop courses as often as you like. 

 

Can I take the course test more than once?

Yes.  You may take the tests as many times as necessary.  You may also review the courses and lessons as many times as you wish. 

 

How long will it take to earn my HRCI recertification credits?

Work at your own pace, anytime you wish for up to 1 year.  1 credit is equivalent to 1 hour of actual time.  If you need 60 credits, you will need to spend approximately 60 hours of your time in the courses.

 

Do we need to purchase a separate subscription for each HRCI-certified professional?

Yes.  Each person must have a individual subscription because each HR professional must take his/her own courses and be able to provide individual certificates to HRCI in the event of an audit. 

 

Do you offer discounts for multiple subscriptions?

Yes.  We offer an automatic 10% discount for 2-5 subscriptions purchased together or a 20% discount for 6 or more.  You may specify separate start dates for each user during checkout.  For group discounts using individual payments or for more than 10 subscriptions, please contact us.

 

If I purchase using the 3-pay option, will I have access to the courses right away?

How do I obtain HRCI recertification credit for my PHR, SPHR, GPHR, HRBP or HRMP?

Each online e-Learning course includes a test.  A passing score for HRCI recertification credit is 70%.  Correct answers are shown after answering each question.  If you do not pass the test on the first attempt, you can repeat the tests as many times as necessary.

 

Once you have successfully completed a course, you will immediately be able to save or print a Certificate which contains the pre-approved HRCI program ID number ("ORG-PROGRAM" ID).  You will enter this HRCI ID number into your HRCI recertification application.  We also suggest that you upload your certificate into your HRCI recerifcation application.  We will be happy to help you with this process. There is NO additional charge to obtain HRCI recertification credit.  EVERYTHING shown on this page is included in the purchase price.

 

Can I save or print certificates at a later date?

Yes. You can save or print certificates at any time after you have successfully completed a course, up until the time your subscription expires.  You can save or print certificates from any computer.  We encourage you to save the certificates to a folder on your computer, then enter the course information and upload your certificate into your HRCI recertification application as you complete the courses.

 

Can I purchase today but have my subscription start at a later date?

Will the courses work on an iPad or android tablet?

No, the courses do not currently work on an iPad or android tablet since Java is required.  If you have a tablet that runs the full version of Windows (not RT), such as the Samsung ATIV Smart PC, that will work.  If you are not sure about your tablet, please install Java at www.java.com to verify, or contact us.  Otherwise, the courses will only run on a PC, laptop, or Mac.  We will be happy to help you with your Java installation and any other technical issues. We expect that the Java requirement will be eliminated in January 2015 and therefore iPads and other tablets will be supported then.

 

Are the courses available in an "accessible" mode?

Yes.  Text-only versions of the courses, designed for use with a screen-reading program, are an option for visually-impaired users.

 

Can I purchase another subscription at a discount after 1 year?

Yes. Once you have purchased our HRCI recertification credit package, you can subscribe for an additional year at anytime for just $199.  Returning clients will be given access to our HRCI recertification renewal package - also 60+ credits but different course titles than those on this page since HRCI rules state that you may NOT repeat courses for credit that were used for credit in a previous recertification cycle   To subscribe for an additional year, please follow the instructions in your renewal email or contact us if you need the information resent to you.  All subscriptions are for exactly 1 year.

Can I use these courses to obtain my PHR or SPHR?

The requirements below are pretty basic.  The most important requirement is that you have the current version of Java installed and enabled in your browser.  You can check for Java and install the current version at www.java.com.  You must use a PC, laptop, or Mac - NO iPads or android tablets since Java is required.  A tablet with the full version of Windows (not RT) will also work.  Feel free to call or write with questions.  We'll be happy to help and can access your computer remotely to get the courses working for you.

Accessing Your Courses:

 

Once you complete the purchase process, you will immediately receive a link to register for course access.  Be sure to register right away, even for a future start date.  Once you register, your courses will be available to you within 1 hour for same-day start dates.  Course access is processed 7 days a week on the hour, 24 hours a day.  Remember to allow email from our domain and check spam/junk folders too.  Our access information email contains links and therefore may look suspicious to your email program. 

 

You will receive a user ID, password, and link to the e-Learning site.  Once you login, you will find both printed instructions as well as a video that will show you step by step how to take a course, save/print certificates and obtain HRCI credit.

 

Your subscription is valid for 1 year from your start date.  Start date can be any date from now through December 2015.  You will indicate your desired start date during the checkout and self-registration processes.
