 Can I take just a few courses now and receive individual credit for them?

Yes.  Each indicated individual course is pre-approved for HRCI credit.  Once you successfully complete a course, you will receive the pre-approved HRCI program ID number for that course which you will enter into your recertification application to receive the specified number of credit hours.  You may take the courses in any order and at any time you wish during your 1-year subscription.

 

 Can I start a course and then go back to it again when I have time?

 How long will it take to earn my HRCI recertification credits?

Work at your own pace, anytime you wish for up to 1 year.  1 hour of e-Learning course credit is equivalent to 1 hour of actual time.  Your actual time may vary depending on your familiarity with the topics.  To receive HRCI recertification credit, you simply need to pass either a skill assessment or quiz with a score of 70% or better on each pre-approved course you take.  All questions are multiple-choice or 1-word answers and straightforward.  Following each quiz question, you will receive an explanation of the correct answer.  You may take the assessments or quizzes as many times as you wish.  Only your best score will be counted. 

 

 Must we purchase a subscription for each HRCI-certified professional?

Yes.  Each person must have an individual subscription because each certified professional must take his/her own quizzes or assessments and be able to provide documentation to HRCI in the event of an audit. Each online e-Learning training course includes an optional skill assessment and a quiz.  A passing score for HRCI credit for recertification for your PHR, SPHR or GPHR is 70% on either the course skill assessment or the quiz.  If you answer a quiz question incorrectly, you will be given the correct answer along with an explanation.  Questions are multiple-choice or 1-word answers and are straightforward.  You may repeat the assessments, quizzes and the e-Learning courses as many times you wish during your 1-year subscription.  Only your highest score is the one that will be counted. 

When you have successfully completed a course, you will receive the pre-approved HRCI program ID number which you can then enter into your HRCI recertification application.  We will be happy to help you with the process.
